The Kaiser Permanente Medical Center at Oakland consists of
a 346-bed hospital and three outpatient clinic buildings. We
provide primary care to 32% of the surrounding population and
tertiary care to three million Kaiser Permanente Health Plan
members in Northern California.
The hospital has 346 patient beds, including 60 telemetry/critical
care beds.

The Oakland Medical Center is home to Kaiser sponsored
residency programs in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Otolaryngology, Pediatrics, and Podiatric Surgery. In addition,
residents from UCSF, UC Davis, Alameda County Medical Center
and Children's Hospital Oakland also have regularly scheduled
rotations at our facility.
