Glenn Weinraub, DPM

I originally became interested in a medical career back in 1986 while working as a Professional Ski Patrolman for the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in the Eastern Sierra. It was in that environment where I gained a true appreciation for both the responsibility and the joy of being able to deliver advanced care to those in need.

My current professional interests revolve around advanced reconstructive techniques of the Ankle and Foot. Specific areas of interest include the treatment of traumatic injuries, post-traumatic reconstruction, treatment of the adult flatfoot, sports medicine injuries and treatment of ankle and foot deformities. While I do believe that most conditions can be addressed with conservative care, I am also fortunate to have training that allows me to deliver advanced reconstructive techniques including the use of external fixation, lower extremity plastics and arthroscopic modalities when indicated.

I have been fortunate to have held academic positions at the University of Virginia and the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am very active with both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and I enjoy being active with podiatric research and publication.

I am a native Californian (grew up in Los Angeles). I am married to Debbie and we have two dogs, Decker, a massive Golden Retriever and Ollie, a very smart little mixed breed fellow. My wife and I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, hiking, cooking and traveling.
