About Santa Clara
Santa
Clara County, also referred to as "Silicon Valley," is
unique because of its combination of scenic attractiveness and economic
diversity. With its natural beauty and high standard of living,
Santa Clara County has been considered one of the most desirable
areas in the United States to live and work. The perfect climate
of the region remains temperate year round with mild winters. Santa
Clara offers a rich history, cultural diversity, arts, sports, and
outstanding academic institutions. Santa Clara County is home to
two of the original California Missions, and the city of San Jose.
Our patient population is representative of the diverse community in which
we live. More than one-third of area residents are Kaiser Permanente members
consisting of:

There are 15 cities in the County
of Santa Clara: Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los
Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain
View, Palo Alto, San
Jose, Santa Clara,
Saratoga, and Sunnyvale. The County's geography ranges from Palo
Alto to the north, to Gilroy in the south. The Sharks
NHL hockey team, Sabercats
arena football team, the Earthquakes
MLS soccer team, and many other fine sports teams call San Jose
home. Santa Clara County also hosts several fine museums and concert
venues.
