In addition to the residents, chief residents, and program director, there are generally multiple subspecialists in attendance to offer teaching input, including nephrologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, rheumatologists, and the Chief of Radiology.

Preclinic Conference is held on Monday and Friday afternoons from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. residents attend an ambulatory pre-clinic conference led by a primary care physician to discuss outpatient topics.

Teaching Rounds are held daily by ward team attendings. Ward teams are protected from admissions from 8-11 am each day in order to provide adequate time for morning report, work rounds, and teaching rounds with the attending
