Obstetrics & Gynecology at Santa Clara

Mission Statement

As Obstetrics and Gynecology Residents, we have collectively put forth these goals and ideals for our four years of training:

Academics
We will promote an enthusiastic and challenging learning and teaching environment for ourselves and visiting medical students through the study of the basic tenets of Ob/Gyn and incorporation of evidence-based clinical practice. We should continue to promote interactive and dynamic learning with our attendings and mentors.

Patient Care
We will provide exemplary and compassionate patient care for our diverse and multi-cultural patient population while respecting individual preferences and rights.

Colleagues
We strive to work as a team by enhancing each other's learning and respecting each individual's contributions and differences. We recognize that our lives outside of residency both influence and enhance our working relationships.

Community
We will continue to incorporate community outreach by providing health services and education to those most in need.

We will re-evaluate and refine these goals on a yearly basis to become outstanding and compassionate physicians in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
