The
Kaiser Permanente Medical Center at San Francisco provides primary
care to 28 percent of the city's population, and tertiary care to
some of the three million Kaiser Permanente health plan members

Our
medical facility consists of a completely remodeled 237-bed hospital
and a new 460,000 square foot outpatient clinic. Over the next few
years, a second, similarly sized outpatient facility will be added.
Residency training began at the San Francisco facility in the late 1940's.
Our program and our graduates have been a source of considerable pride
to the medical center over the ensuing years and have allowed us to attract
top notch faculty.
Our affiliates include the University of California San Francisco and
California Pacific Medical Center.
