How to Apply


The San Diego Knee and Sports Medicine Research Fellowship accepts applications solely through the AOSSM/ San Francisco Match. 

Applications for the 2011-2012 fellowship year will be accepted beginning on September 1, 2009 and all applications must be received by December 1, 2009.

At the request of the AOSSM, please do not submit any additional material beyond that required by the standard application.

To participate in the fellowship, the physician must have:

  • Completed an ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program
  • California Medical license
  • Fluoroscopy license
  • Current DEA certificate
  • USMLE transcripts for Step 1,2,3 Board scores
