About the Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center
Kaiser Permanente has operated in San Diego since 1967 as a full
service , tertiary-care facility providing inpatient and outpatient
medical care. The medical center has 395 licensed beds, a 24-hour
Emergency Department, and a Level II Trauma Unit. Kaiser Permanente's
staff and physicians serve nearly 500,000 members at 21 outpatient
clinics in the San Diego area.
