Fellows are treated as visiting scholars. The open and collegial relationship among fellows, faculty and staff contributes to a pleasant and stimulating academic environment for all.

Many of our fellows choose to live in the wide variety of areas within the city. San Diego boasts numerous residential communities with affordable housing and easy access to work via freeways. For example, recent fellows have resided in Mission Valley, Mission Beach, University City and La Jolla.
